What is Cannibidiol (CBD)?
Under the Agricultural Act of 2014, federal law allows for the cultivation, processing, and marketing of hemp and hemp products. Industrial hemp products, which contain less than 0.3% THC, can be commercially shipped to all 50 states. Cannabidiol or CBD is a chemical compound that is derived from the hemp plant. CBD is just one of more than 80 unique compounds that are found in hemp.
Our CBD Products Contain Little to No THC
Hemp is a variety of the Cannabis sativa plant species that is made up of palmate leaves and small clusters of green flowers. The seeds and roots contain little to no THC, which is the psychoactive element that causes side effects associated with feelings of being high. Fortunately, hemp oil is free of THC and safe for daily use. CBD is just one of the hemp varieties cultivated for industrial production. It has been proven to have many therapeutic uses and values.
Cannabinoids are made up of chemical compounds which directly affect the body’s central regulatory system. These cannabinoids can be either consumed or produced naturally by the body. CBD is an example of a cannabinoid that when consumed results in a higher functioning central regulatory system, providing powerful health benefits. Through the administration of CBD, there have been a number of benefits for medical conditions including chronic pain, inflammation, acne, and even anti-aging. New ways are currently underway to incorporate CBD topically, through salves, lotions, and balms.
